Introducing the Insights Agent Challenge with the Social Intelligence Lab

28th May 2026

Every social intelligence team has a wishlist of automations they wish they could run: the manual data pull that eats up a Monday morning, the tagging of hundreds of pieces content based on campaign filters, the monthly reporting of brand health across regions. The types of tasks you'd hand over to an agent, if one existed.

This year, we will build one of those: with you.

We have partnered with our friends at the Social Intelligence Lab to launch a co-creation challenge for Insights Agents, and starting today, submissions are open. The call is simple: tell us the AI agent or agentic workflow you wish existed for social intelligence work, with a particular eye on what would change how global enterprise teams operate.

The best idea, as judged by an expert panel, will get built by our team, and we'll jointly present it in Paris in November at Observe Summit.

This is part of a year-long initiative around AI agents for us and the Social Intelligence Lab. A few months ago, we jointly launched 'From Analyst to Architect' a training series led by Pulsar's research team to help social intelligence professionals think about automation and agentic AI.

The course builds on our team's work developing insights agents such as Pulsar CLEAR, for advertising compliance, and Crisis Oracle, our agentic system for predicting brand crises. But it also builds on Pulsar's own history: Pulsar was born as a co-creation project between the team at then research agency FACE and an enterprise client who wanted to explore how social data could offer more options for their customer insights team.

Analysts working in social intelligence –like the 25 currently taking part in the course– already know where the edge cases hide, which workflows matter, and where judgment cannot be automated away.

That knowledge of pain points, use cases, and problems is the most important ingredient in building effective solutions. And as AI and agents re-shape the business world, we'd like to invite the social intelligence community to tap into it to shape the future of this corner of the economy.

Learn more about the challenge and submit your idea here.
