From Analyst to Architect: Designing Agentic Workflows for Social Intelligence

From Analyst to Architect: Designing Agentic Workflows for Social Intelligence

20th April 2026

We've partnered with The Social Intelligence Lab to launch a new training series for social intelligence professionals: From Analyst to Architect. Led by the Pulsar research team, this short course offers a practical, actionable framework for designing automation and agentic workflows using social intelligence data.

The guiding principle is to empower social listening analysts to apply their existing skills and knowledge of social intelligence use cases and workflows in the context of automation and agentic AI. The goal is not total technical fluency, but to spot opportunities, describe them with precision and enable participants to design agentic solutions in their organizations.

Certified by the CPD Standards Office, this course draws on the hands-on experience the Pulsar research and product teams have accumulated at the frontier of AI agents and social intelligence, including the launch of Pulsar CLEAR and Crisis Oracle just in the past few months.

“The role of the social listening analyst is evolving, and we wanted to create something that helps people feel confident and prepared for that shift. This course starts from where analysts already are. It's not about learning to code or becoming technical, it's about seeing your existing skills through a new lens and feeling confident in shaping the way AI and automation will develop for your function in your organization” said Deanna Tserkezie, Director of Research Innovation at Pulsar.

"While there’s a lot of conversation around where AI and agentic workflows can fit in social intelligence, the challenge is understanding how they’ll fit into the day-to-day work. This training is designed to help practitioners make sense of that, so they can decide what to automate, what to keep human, and how the two work together in practice. It’s incredibly exciting to see this training launch," said Jillian Ney, founder of the Social Intelligence Lab.

Participants will move through three distinct modules, each helping them reframe and refine how to approach the design of agents for social intelligence.

From Dashboards to Agents: A New Mental Model

By the end of this session, participants will be able to explain the agentic mindset, map their own daily tasks to "agent-doable" jobs, and identify where judgment, iteration, and monitoring already exist in their work.

Designing Agentic Workflows

By the end of this session, participants will be able to describe a workflow as a sequence of agent actions, define triggers and escalation logic, and design a multi-agent system to solve a complex brief.

From Idea to Reality: Building a Practical Roadmap

By the end of this session, participants will be able to categorize automation and agentic opportunities by risk and complexity, and sequence them into a phased implementation roadmap.

Each module is reinforced by exercises grounded in participants' own industries and projects. By the end, they'll have the tools to move beyond social listening’s traditional ‘dashboard’ mindset, toward one built around agentic AI.

This first cohort is limited to 25 participants. Apply on the Social Intelligence Lab's website.
