Segmenting Audiences with Pulsar
Starting within Pulsar TRAC, users can quickly access Communities integration through the Audience Insights tab. The integration enables users to easily filter conversations by bio keywords, demographics, and date ranges, as well as precisely segment specific groups (such as healthcare professionals, as Beth demonstrates) by focusing on identifiers in user bios.
In-Depth Audience Insights
After segmenting an audience in Pulsar TRAC, an audience map is generated. This lets you reach rich insights that allow marketers to deeply understand and strategically target specific segments.
We can see a breakdown by Demographics & Socioeconomics, with detailed breakdowns of gender, age, locations, education, and job industries. There's also a view of Personality Traits which provide insights into communication styles, helping marketers to refine messaging for greater resonance. This is further helped by Buying Mindsets & Online Habits, which allows Pulsar users to understand the consumer behavior of their audiences, including online platform preferences, to strategically position campaigns across digital channels.
Interests & Media Affinity allows comprehensive profiling of audience interests and preferred media channels to refine content strategies and media placements. We can also see the Influencers & Brands that act as influential figures within specific communities. These two facets combined will allow marketers to support effective partnership strategies, knowing which partnerships will become the most fruitful for your audience.
Strategic Applications & Campaign Benchmarking
Communities integration isn't just one-way. Segments identified can easily be brought back into Pulsar TRAC searches. This functionality allows you to track the ongoing conversations and broader interests of specific audience segments in real-time. Gaining continuous insights beyond initial conversation topics allows markets to access deeper, sustained audience understanding with nuance.
