2.ROLE OVERVIEW:

We believe that the best B2B marketing content is insight and data led, delivered simply, visually, and creatively. For this role, we are looking for a creative marketer who is both verbally and visually oriented, to help us tell stories about data-driven insights and our platform’s capabilities across marketing channels, through clever writing and eye-catching graphical assets, while also lending a hand analyzing the data.

You know how to play with words and land on exceptional copy to engage with different topics across different platforms and marketing channels; you know how articulate these concepts visually and create the graphical assets to convey them; and you have a knack for research and data, and an interest in how social media shapes the broader culture and economy, with a particular focus on US audiences.

 

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Content Marketing Lead (USA) sits within the Marketing team, reporting into the CMO. The role will be based in Pulsar’s Head Office in London.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Write content and copy for our blog, social media channels, web pages, emails, advertising, and other content marketing campaigns and touchpoints.
  • Envision and design eye-catching, visually imaginative and on-brand graphical assets – from social cards to insight-focused data visualizations, to full reports and email banners.
  • Through data research and analysis, help the rest of the Pulsar marketing team deliver accurate and methodologically sound research work based on social, audience, search data.
  • Own and deliver campaigns – packaging insight, words, and visuals– aimed at showing expertise and driving engagement and business across channels, with a particular emphasis on social media and email marketing.
  • Keep up with Internet, consumer culture and marketing industry trends to source chart, story and campaign ideas for original, data-backed content and campaigns, with a specific focus on the USA.
  • Work closely with the wider Pulsar teams (i.e. sales, retention, research, product etc.) to deliver campaigns to support Pulsar activity: from events to product launches, to upsell campaigns and much more.
  • Help maintain and deliver against a busy content calendar including thought-leadership, events & partnerships, product releases, company announcements, and more.
  • All staff have a responsibility and an essential role to play in safeguarding Access Intelligence’s information and that of its customers. 4. PROFILE

  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to modulate writing and tone of voice based on campaign, channel and context.
  • An ability to think and execute visually, and an eagerness to work with design tools like InDesign, Illustrator, Canva and data visualization tools like Flourish.
  • An interest in research and in analysing and wrangling data – from Pulsar all the way to Excel.
  • A proactive, hands-on, highly collaborative mindset, comfortable with handing or taking over projects from other team members
  • A deep curiosity for media, Internet culture, marketing and consumer culture
  • Adaptability and ability to multitask on a variety of projects at different stages at the same time
  • A good knowledge of US culture and society
  • Familiarity with running and building community through social media platforms.

6. SALARY, BONUS SCHEME & BENEFITS

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
